Insight 2012
Following on from our Olympic Watch service, we've now begun working on marcoms projects focused on London 2012.
To act as an introductory gateway to our wider 2012 service, we have introduced our 2012 Olympic marcomms blog, accessible at www.xtremeinsight.net/2012blog
As well as ad-hoc comment and analysis of breaking 2012 marcoms, it will feature regular ‘2012 trends' summaries and a round-up of breaking Olympic marketing activity, and notable sponsorship activation from other major sporting events.
Available in summer 2010, the full Insight 2012 package will feature a global archive of marketing communication promoting the London Olympics.
Subscribers will be able to see how sponsorship campaigns develop and grow over the coming months, gain insight into media placement and expenditure, and be alerted to guerrilla activity and non-traditional marketing techniques. Via our monthly interactive reports, subscribers will receive exclusive content not available on the blog, such as interviews, campaign analysis, brand case studies, consumer research, and an in-depth look at the emerging trends in the sports marketing space.
And while we are looking towards 2012, we will also be keeping a close eye on the other major upcoming sporting events including the FIFA World Cup 2010, and the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
12 Trends for 2012
In response to client need, we have put together a '12 Trends For 2012' presentation for agencies, official sponsors, guerrilla advertisers and broadcasters.
The 30-minute briefing explores a set of key 2012-relevant marcoms issues and insights - from digital technology forecasting and low latency campaigns, to concerns about potential consumer backlash and guerrilla marketing - providing marcoms planning stimulus and guidelines for those looking to leverage this sporting extravaganza.
